They will discuss how Girl Scouts can get their Amateur Radio License and get involved helping out the community in a disaster or time of need. They will learn different ways to use radios by attending different speakers’ forums and visiting the Communication Vans parked outside. They will also visit a working radio room at the Convention and may even get on the radio and talk to another Country. Additionally, they will visit the exhibitors’ booths and put together a virtual radio station. This forum is open to Junior, Cadette and Senior registered Girl Scouts only and will help you meet your Emergency Preparedness IP.
