	CQ CQ de KF6LFB “Did I say this right?” Okay! Now I am K6VC almost 10 years later This presentation is my life experience as a ham radio operator, a “YL” to top it off. I got my first license in May 1997, tech plus (when it existed) in Sept 1997, general in October 1998, advance in November 1998 (drove the FCC nuts, they weren’t sure if they should just hold my license until I was finished testing) then took a breather until just before the new rules came in and got my Extra, January 2000. President of the Southern California DX Club in 2004, either they loved me or thought I was the next insane person to become president. Started on the board in 1997, so had a long term before I did took the jump! In my other life, I am an instructor for a career college in the medical field.
