Ed Clark is responsible
for outreach activities for the NWS office in San Diego. He deals
with relations with the public, media, emergency services organizations
and gives talks to a variety of different groups, clubs and organizations.
He came to the San Diego office in November of 1997 after being
in the same position in Elko, NV for nearly 3 years. Before Elko,
Mr. Clark was stationed at the Weather Service Office in Sacramento,
California where he was primarily responsible for briefing the
Army Corps of Engineers for rainfall prediction for Hydrologic
operations and Reservoir Control. He interned at the San Francisco
Forecast Office. He attended High School in the San Diego area
and has earned his B. S. degree in Meteorology from San Jose State
University after spending four years in the Navy. He also received
his Ham radio license in 2003 - KG6URT.
