Pat Bunsold WA6MHZ
is Curator of the Crest Radio Museum: possibly the largest collection
of Amateur Radio Artifacts in the world! Today's program will focus
on how to procure old radios, process them and ready them for display
or actual use. Special techniques will be shared on how to convert
an old rusty boatanchor into a museum showpiece! Actual vintage
radios will be on display including some of the rarest items ever
to resurface. We will also take a tour of the facinating Museum
assembled in his house.
WA6MHZ is the ARRL San Diego Section Manager and ardent DXer, Homebrewer
and Microwave enthusiast. But most of his time is spent in Boatanchor
Heaven, with new items arriving daily. This program will be amongst
the highlights of your visit to the 2006 ARRL Southwestern Division
Convention, so arrive early for a good seat! Bring along an item
if you wish to share with all on the magic and glory of radios that
glow in the DARK!
