Tuck Miller NZ6T
is not happy unless he is active somewhere in the Amateur Radio
Service. Tuck presently serves as the Section Emergency Coordinator
for San Diego and Imperial Counties. He also serves as both an Assistant
Section Manager, and Public Information Coordinator. Tuck served
as Vice Director for 3 years for the Southwestern Division and is
a past Section Manager for a total of 4 years. Other past positions
include Affiliated Clubs Coordinator, District Emergency Coordinator,
past Presidents for both the Amateur Radio Club of El Cajon, and
the Southbay Amateur Radio Society. Tuck serves as Webmaster for
the San Diego section, and for the San Diego DX Club as well as
SDDXC’s newsletter editor. You can find him conducting various
nets during the week for ECRA and the ARA, SANDRA, and of course
ARES. Tuck enjoys various modes in the Amateur
Radio service, including aprs, T-hunting, Dxing and Contesting.
Tuck’s favorite bands are 75, 40, and 6 meters, but spends
most of his time on 40 meters and 440 UHF.
Tuck is married to Evelyn N6EVE, has 2 daughters and
3 grandsons. |
