Kens new 900 Repeater
The first picture shows the Motorola MSF5000 repeater with the front door off. The black panel on top of the cabinet is the duplexer, the grey panel above it holds the pre-amp and pre-selector cavities.

The repeater is putting around 56 watts out of the duplexer. 7/8" Heliax feeds a Sinclair antenna with approximately 8 dBd gain. Input frequency is 902.3375 MHz, output is 927.3375 MHz, 151.4 Hz PL in and out.

The next picture shows the repeater with the door on and repeater owner Ken, WA6OSB. In the upper right of the picture is a PolyPhaser for lightning protection.

The repeater was installed in the SANDRA site on Mt. Otay on the 4th of July 2004. We dragged it the final few hundred feet up the hill on a large-wheeled dolly. Invaluable assistance in the repeater installation was provided by John, K6RLV; Alex, WB6DTR; Stogie, KG6JCW and Erich, W6LKK.
